We have had two other cold therapy machines - this is the third. The Breg is easy to use and connect, BUT it is the least cold of the three machines (not Breg company machines).

Ok but

I had an initial problem of putting it on patient after her knee replacement it hurt every time I touched. S never really got it on correctly until the third day and it still got kind of wierd. Finally got to try the compression with a mild setting im thinking it might pushed everything around so that the cold got to where it was needed

Convenient, effective and easy to use

I bought this in advance of my rotator cuff surgery. Upon the advice of the source ortho staff, I got the dedicated shoulder wrap rather than the universal wrap. It takes a little practice to put it on my shoulder one handed, but it works very well. I've also found that using the eight plastic bags that come with it to fill with water and make ice packs works very well. I keep four in the freezer at a time and then swap them into the Breg device when needed. The ice lasts a long time. The compression feature is gentle. I find the unit easy to move around from room to room and easy to refill. Overall, I'm very happy with this.
